What kinds of clothes are best?
The clothes you wear are a very important part of your image. We want to photograph you in clothes you look GREAT in. It's important to remember that most of the time your clothes should compliment your portrait, not dominate or distract from your face. Solid colors or simple, muted designs work best. Layering clothes of similar colors works well, and can provide a variety of "looks" from the same outfit. Long or three-quarter length sleeves tend to flatter how most of us look.
To get the greatest variety in your photographs it is best to bring both dressy and casual clothes. Sometimes it's hard to decide what to bring. You can stop by the studio and check out what other kids have worn in the past - we'll be happy to take the time and show you examples of what works well. Planning ahead really helps make your senior portraits the best.
